Mario Arditi

Mario is the youngest of five siblings and head winemaker at his family's estate Cinque Quinti.

Mario and his 4 brothers and sisters decided to revive their grandparents' farm, cantina and vineyards in 2016, and to continue the Arditi legacy in Monferrato - much against the advice of their father. 

Together with friends and cousins, Mario is on a mission to make the world see how Monferrato can rival its better known neighbors Langhe and Barolo. Not afraid of a good party, they are doing that through winemaking, gastronomy and the occasional rave in the middle of Cella Monte.

Mario graduated from the university of Florence with a degree in Viticulture and Oenology in 2023. He made wine in Australia, France and Sicily before taking over the cantina of Cinque Quinti. 

Anneleen and Mario met randomly at a wine tasting in Brussels, but quickly realized that they both shared a mission to put old native grapes back on the map.
